In Our Eyes, Forever

He was
Just here,
But not now.

Like Heavenly Father
He was there when we needed him.
Like Heavenly Father
Many times we failed to check-in.

Still, I hear him.
Still, I see him.
Ever, will I love him.

Silently (there) he cares for us (here).

Together,
We said our goodbyes.
Now he's in our eyes,
Forever . . .
